With kiln-dried firewood you are pretty much guaranteed a low moisture content (from 20% to as
low as 9%). This makes it ideal forgetting a fire going for hours with minimal tending and ensures
a clean safe burn. Kiln dried logs
are also easier to light and the ultra low moisture content ensures that you will use less wood to
achieve greater amount of heat output, saving you money and time.So, kiln dried logs are more
efficient than seasoned logs.Plus, the lower moisture content in the wood means there is less
chance of the wood blackening the glass of your stove over time, which is a common problem with
wet or improperly seasoned wood.

We harvest sustainable timber from our woodland to our wood yard.
All the timber from our woodland is put through our processing machines. We then put them into cages ready for drying in the kilns. When the logs are dried and moisture tested the cages are removed from the kilns and go to the bagging area.
